Logicalis appoints former Logica and BT executive as CEO

Datatec Limited, (JSE/AIM: DTC, "Datatec" or “the Group”), the international Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) group announces that it has appointed Gary Bullard as Chief
Executive of Logicalis Group, its IT solutions and managed services division, with effect from 1
March 2014. Gary will succeed Ian Cook who is retiring as CEO. Ian will become non-executive
Chairman.

Gary has substantial international experience in the IT and telecoms industry spanning more than
25 years.

In his most recent role he was UK CEO and President of Australia, Middle East and Asia for Logica
PLC, now part of CGI, Inc., the Canadian based global IT services company. Prior to this, Gary
was Managing Director of BT PLC's corporate business unit and President, BT Global Services.

Gary has also held senior executive positions in IBM including General Manager, IBM Global
Services EMEA and General Manager, IBM Global Solutions, a $12bn unit based out of New York.

Gary, who will join Logicalis in December 2013 as CEO designate, is also a non-executive director
of Rotork Plc (LSE: ROR).
