CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – RESIGNATION OF CHAIRMAN AND
CHANGE IN FUNCTION OF A DIRECTOR



In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of
directors of Datacentrix (“Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders of the resignation of Mr Gary
Morolo as director and Non-executive chairman of the Board with immediate effect. Following
recent changes in the shareholding structure of the Company with the introduction of a new
significant shareholder, Mr Morolo wishes to make way for new leadership to be put in place by
the Board.

The Board wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Mr Morolo for his services and leadership to
the Board since his appointment in August 1998, and wishes him well going forward.

Mr Pete Backwell, Lead Independent Non-executive director, will assume the role of interim
chairman until such time as the Board is in a position to appoint a new chairman. Shareholders
will be advised in due course once an appointment has been made.
