LITHA ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN MAJORITY SHAREHOLDER

Litha announces that its majority shareholder, Paladin Labs Inc. (TSX:PLB) (“Paladin”) has reached a
definitive agreement to be acquired by Endo Health Solutions (NASDAQ:ENDP) (“Endo”), a leading
U.S.-based specialty pharmaceutical company.
Paladin currently holds a majority shareholding in Litha having recently increased its holding in the
company.

The stock and cash transaction is valued at approximately US$1.7 billion and will be acquired by a
newly-formed Irish holding company (“New Endo”). Paladin will remain in Montreal, led by the current
management team and will trade under the name of Paladin Labs, as a subsidiary of the new holding
company.

Litha does not expect any operational impact to their current business.
