TRADING STATEMENT - UPDATED

In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, and further to the trading statement
released on SENS on 12 August 2013, BSI wishes to advise its
shareholders that the company is expecting earnings per share
and headline earnings per share for the six month period ended
30 September 2013 to be between 200% and 220% higher when
compared to the earnings and headline earnings per share for
the previous corresponding period.

The financial results for the six months ended 30 September
2013 will be released on SENS on or about 7 November 2013.
The information in this trading statement has not been
reviewed or reported on by BSI`s auditors, Deloitte.
