                             Director Dealing

Blackstar announces that on 21 October 2013, it received
notification that Andrew Bonamour, Non Executive Director of the
Company and Director of Blackstar Group (Pty) Limited, the
Company’s investment advisory subsidiary, received 300,000
shares of €0.76 each (“Ordinary Shares”) at price of ZAR 11.25
(0.75 pence) per share on 21 October 2013 as part of the share
incentive scheme of the Company. These shares are subject to
lock up for three years.

Following the transaction, Andrew Bonamour is interested in
7,831,200 Ordinary Shares, representing 9.65% of the issued
share capital of the Company, excluding shares held in treasury.
