NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Company’s annual general meeting of shareholders will be held at
16H00, local time, on 19 November 2013, at President Place, 6th Floor, Cnr. Jan Smuts Avenue and
Bolton Road, Rosebank, Johannesburg, South Africa, to transact the business as stated in the notice
of the annual general meeting which can be found on Net1’s website at http://phx.corporate-

Net1’s Board of Directors has fixed the close of business on 4 October 2013 as the record date for
determining shareholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting.
