Results of private placing



Investors are referred to IAPF’s abridged pre-listing statement, released on SENS on Monday,
30 September 2013 (“Listing Announcement”) for the terms of the proposed inward listing of
Investec Australia Property Fund. Definitions used in this announcement are as per the Listing
Announcement and pre-listing statement issued on 25 September 2013.


The Listing Announcement detailed the Fund’s intention to raise capital by way of a private
placing to invited investors of a maximum value of AUD 112,685,000 of new units priced between
AUD 0.95 and AUD 1.05 per unit (“Private Placing”).


The Private Placing closed on 10 October 2013 and was significantly oversubscribed.
112,685,000 units were placed at AUD 1.00 per IAPF unit in terms of the book building process,
thus AUD 112,685,000 was successfully raised through the Private Placing. Based on the forward
cover taken by IAPF, the rand equivalent issue price of the units and capital raised will be
R9.4266 and R1,062,236,421 respectively. Payment in respect of investors’ allocations must be
received by the bookrunner by no later than 10:00 on Friday, 18 October 2013, in accordance
with the allocation letters sent to successful applicants on Friday, 11 October 2013. The units
issued in terms of the Private Placing will be transferred to successful applicants and listed on the
Thursday, 24 October 2013.


134,685,000 units will be listed in the “Real Estate – Real Estate Holdings and Development”
sector of the Main Board of the JSE. Units will trade under the abbreviated name: “IAPF” with
JSE share code: IAP and ISIN: AU60INL00018.
