Amendments to the JSE Listings Requirements

The JSE has received comments from the industry that it takes a lengthy period of time to raise
capital on the market through means of a rights offer. The JSE therefore proposes to reduce the
timetable relating to capital raising through rights offers by amending the rights offer/claw-back offer
timetable as contained in the JSE Listings Requirements (the “Requirements”).

The proposed amendments to the Requirements are available on the JSE’s website (www.jse.co.za –
Route: How to List/Listings Requirements/New Items) and affected parties are invited to submit their
comments by no later than Tuesday, 12 November 2013. Comments can be submitted electronically
to mookhom@jse.co.za.
