Shareholders are advised that the Company’s attributable loss per share for the interim period ended 31 August 2013 is expected to be between 17.66 cents and 17.22 cents. The headline loss per share for the same period is expected to be between 9.93 cents and 9.59 cents. These results include Goodwill impairment of R47.1 million following the disposal of the West African Group division and mark-to-market losses from listed investments (Alphamin Resources Corp. and Afarak Group Plc) of R3.3 million. Without these adjustments the expected attributable earnings per share for the interim period ended 31 August 2013 would have been between 0.10 cents and 0.54 cents.
