REAL PEOPLE ISSUES SEK 410MILLION SENIOR UNSECURED BONDS IN THE
NORDIC CAPITAL MARKETS

Real People Investment Holdings Limited has successfully issued a
senior unsecured, dual tranched, five-year Nordic bond totalling an
equivalent SEK 410 million(~ ZAR623 million). The bond will be listed
on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm exchange on a standalone basis.

The bond was issued in two tranches: an SEK-tranche of SEK 260
million (ISIN: SE0005392560) and a NOK-tranche of NOK 135 million
(ISIN: NO0010689342) issued at 6.25 percent over 3mStibor and 3mNibor
respectively. The proceeds of the issue have been swapped into ZAR
via cross currency swaps.

The bonds are the first by a South African issuer to be listed on the
NASDAQ OMX and also the first bonds issued by Real People outside of
the African Debt Capital Markets. The issue serves to further
diversify and strengthen Real People’s broadening funding base.
