Resignation of director

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, the Board of Directors of Implats (“Board”) announces the resignation of Mr OM
Pooe as an alternate director of the Company with effect from 19 September 2013.

Prior to being appointed alternate director to the Board, Mr OM Pooe served as a non-
executive director of the Company since 2010.

The Board thanks Mr Pooe for his invaluable contribution to Implats during his tenure, and
wishes him well in his future endeavours.
