UPDATE ON APPLICATION FOR LIQUIDATION AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

 
Update on application for liquidation 

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 31 July, 6 August, 
20 August and 9 September 2013 detailing, inter alia, the notice of motion by Dr AP 
Ferreira to make application for the winding up of BioScience.

Shareholders and creditors are advised that based on discussions with legal advisors 
and the status of negotiations with creditors, Bioscience did not file an opposing 
affidavit in respect of Dr. Ferreiras application for liquidation. BioScience was 
advised yesterday that the matter was set down in the North Gauteng High Court, 
Pretoria on the unopposed roll on 8 November 2013.

Renewal of cautionary announcement

Shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in the companys 
shares until a further announcement is made.
