PARTIAL DE-LISTING OF NEWGOLD DEBENTURES

NewGold has, from commencement of business today, de-listed 1,200,000 debentures. The 
de-listing is as a result of the redemption of approximately 11,580.315 fine troy ounces 
of gold bullion.

Following the de-listing there will be 138,436,300 NewGold debentures in issue, referencing
approximately 1,335,946.583 fine troy ounces of gold bullion.
