NOTICE OF VARIATION - EXTENSION OF THE OFFER PERIOD - SECTION 650D - CORPORATIONS ACT 
2001 (CTH) 

OFF-MARKET TAKEOVER OFFER BY THE WATERBERG COAL COMPANY LIMITED FOR ALL OF THE 
ORDINARY SHARES IN FIRESTONE ENERGY LIMITED 

To: 	1.	Firestone Energy Limited (ACN 058 436 794) (FSE). 
	2. 	Australian Securities and Investments Commission. 
	3. 	ASX Limited (ACN 008 624 691). 
	4. 	Each person to whom offers were made under the takeover offer referred to in this 	notice. 

This is a notice given by The Waterberg Coal Company Limited (ACN 065 480 453) (WCC) in relation to 
the offers made under its off-market takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares in FSE (the Offers) 
pursuant to its bidders statement dated 30 January 2013 as supplemented by supplementary bidders 
statements dated 20 and 27 March 2013 and 24 May 2013.
 
In accordance with section 650D of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), WCC gives notice that it varies the 
Offers by extending the period during which the Offers will remain open so that the offer will now close 
at 7:00pm (AEST) on Wednesday, 18 September 2013 (unless further extended).
 
A copy of this notice was lodged with ASIC on 6 September 2013. ASIC takes no responsibility for the 
contents of this notice.
 
This notice has been approved by a unanimous resolution of the directors of WCC.
