RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS


Shareholders are advised that at the Annual General Meeting of
MRI held on 4 September 2013, all the ordinary and special
resolutions with the exception of ordinary resolution No.5 -
election and re-election of Mr Steve Tredoux and No.6 –
election    and   re-election of Mr James Herbst which were
withdrawn prior to the meeting, were passed by the requisite
majority of shareholders.

The special resolutions, where applicable, will be filed with
the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission in due
course.

CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In addition to the above, in terms of paragraph 3.59 of the
JSE Limited’s Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Mr Steve Tredoux resigned as independent non-executive
director and Mr James Herbst resigned as non-executive
director of the company with effect from Wednesday, 03
September 2013.
The board wishes to thank Steve and James for their valuable
contribution to the company during their tenure on the Board
of MRI.

The Directors of MRI are pleased to announce the appointment
of Justin Lewis as a non-executive director of the Company
with immediate effect.
Mr Lewis (39) is an experienced public company director who
has spent over 15 years working with small and mid-cap and
corporates across a broad range of sectors, with a focus on
the resources and energy sectors, as both a director and
adviser .


He is an experienced senior manager and entrepreneur having
led the creation and development of mining group Beacon
Hill Resources from inception as a small listed investment
company to producing coal mining group. He previously was
instrumental in   the growth of   a public listed investment
banking group, initially in the UK and latterly in
Australia. He has extensive experience of the public company
environment both as a director and as an adviser. He is a
non-executive director of MRI’s largest shareholder, Armadale
Capital Plc.
