REVISED TRADING STATEMENT


Shareholders are referred to the unaudited interim group results, released on SENS on 7 March 2013,
wherein shareholders were advised that the company expected a continued reduction in both sales and
profitability in the second half of the 2013 financial year.

Shareholders are further referred to the trading statement released on SENS on 3 June 2013 which
advised shareholders that the company expected headline earnings per share and earnings per share for
the twelve month period ending 30 June 2013 to be at least 160% lower than those for the previous
corresponding period and further that the company was not able, at that stage of the financial year,
to determine with a reasonable degree of certainty by what percentage the results for the twelve months
ending 30 June 2013 would be lower than the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders are advised that the company now expects headline earnings per share and earnings per
share for the twelve month period ending 30 June 2013 to be between 136% and 141% lower than
those for the previous corresponding period.

The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company’s external auditors. The
company’s financial results for the year ended 30 June 2013 are expected to be published on or about
27 September 2013.
