TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain
that the financial results for the reporting period will
differ by more than 20% from those of the previous
corresponding period.
The Wesizwe Board of Directors hereby advises shareholders
that the Company expects to report a basic loss per share
attributable to ordinary shareholders for the 6 months ended
30 June 2013 of between 5.75 cents and 5.85 cents per share,
compared to a basic earnings per share of 0.25 cents per share
for the previous comparable period.
The headline loss per share attributable to ordinary
shareholders for the 6 months ended 30 June 2013 is expected
to be between 5.70 cents and 5.90 cents per share, compared to
a headline earnings per share of 0.25 cents for the previous
comparable period.
The financial information included in this trading statement
has not been reviewed and reported on by the Company’s
external auditors.
