RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT RELATING TO THE ACQUISITION
OF NAMAQUALAND MINES

With reference to the proposed acquisition by Trans Hex’s 50%
held company, Emerald Panther Investments 78 (Pty) Limited of
Namaqualand Mines from De Beers Consolidated Mines Limited
(“DBCM”), Shareholders were advised in the further cautionary
dated 3 June 2013 that the only outstanding issue was for DBCM
and the State to reach agreement in respect of the State’s 20%
interest in Namaqualand Mines.

The terms of the agreement between DBCM and the State have not
yet been finalized and Shareholders are therefore advised to
continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s
