Director change in designation Clientele Limited (Registration number 2007/023806/06) Share code: CLI ISIN: ZAE000117438 (“Clientele” or “the Group”) DIRECTOR CHANGE IN DESIGNATION In terms of section 3.59c of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders areadvised that Mr Basil Reekie has been appointed as the Managing Director on the Clientele board with effect from 1 July 2013. Mr Basil Reekie is a qualified actuary who joined Clientele on 1 January 2008 and has been the Managing Director of Clientele Life (the major subsidiary of Clientele) since May 2008 and the Managing Director Designate of Clientele since 1 June 2012. Prior to joining Clientele, Mr Basil Reekie was the Managing Executive of QED Actuaries and Consultants where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of QED and consulted to numerous life insurance companies in South Africa and across the African continent. As a consultant, he acted in the capacity of Statutory Actuary for many of these companies. Mr Basil Reekie succeeds Mr Gavin Soll as the Managing Director of Clientele. Mr Gavin Soll joined Clientele Life as the Group Financial Director in February 1998 and in September of the same year was appointed Managing Director. In addition, Mr Gavin Soll was appointed Managing Director of Clientele on its formation in May 2008. Mr Gavin Soll will remain on the Clientele Board as Executive Vice Chairman with effect from 1 July 2013.
