CURRO AWARDED NATIONAL SCALE INVESTMENT GRADE CREDIT RATING

Shareholders are referred to the announcement published by the Company on
21 February 2013 in terms of which the Company advised that it has
embarked on the listing of a Domestic Medium Term Note programme (“the
Programme”) that will provide the Company with capital for expansion over
the long term (“the Initial Announcement”).

Further to the publication of the Initial Announcement, the board of
directors of the Company is pleased to announce that Global Credit Rating
Co (“CGR”) has awarded the Company an initial South African National Scale
long term rating of BBB- and short term rating of A3, with a stable
outlook.

This investment grade rating is the first step in Curro accessing the debt
capital markets for funding and the Programme is, subject to approval of
the JSE Limited, expected to list by August 2013.
