                          APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS




In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
EOH (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Rob Sporen, the Lead Independent
Non-executive director, will be appointed as acting chairman of the Company with effect from
18 June 2013 until the appointment of a permanent chairperson.

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Thoko Mnyango as an Independent Non-
executive director with effect from 18 June 2013. Thoko is a lawyer, business leader and entrepreneur and
has been in the IT industry since 1998, seven years of which as an executive in a listed company fulfilling
many roles from marketing and communication to investor relations and transformation. She now manages
her own communication company.
