ALTX ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPROVAL OF LISTING AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY

Further to the announcement on 22 April 2013 regarding the acquisition of Applemint Properties 116
(Pty) Ltd, and 5 June 2013 regarding the suspension of Sherbourne from the Altx, the board of directors
of Sherbourne are pleased to advise that the AltX Advisory Committee of the JSE has approved the
restructured Sherbourne Group and the acquisition of Applemint Properties 116 (Pty) Ltd, and hence
Sherbourne will retain its listing. A circular is being prepared for the approval of the acquisition of the
asset by shareholders and inter alia, the lifting of the suspension.

Further to the cautionary announcement published on 4 June 2013, shareholders are advised that
the Company has entered into further negotiations which if successfully concluded, may have a material
effect on the price of the company’s securities. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise
caution when dealing in the company’s securities until a further announcement is released.
