FORECAST GUIDANCE ON DISTRIBUTIONS PER B-LINKED UNIT

Ascension previously forecast its distribution per B-linked unit at 21.29 cents per unit (“cpu”) for the year
ending 30 June 2014 (“the 2014 forecast”), representing growth of 14% on the forecast distribution of 18.71
cpu for the year ending 30 June 2013 (“the 2013 forecast”).

Linked unitholders are advised that Ascension is on track to meet its 2013 forecast. Ascension furthermore
wishes to provide guidance that it anticipates that its distribution per B-linked unit for the 2014 forecast will be
22.5 cpu, representing growth of 20% on the 2013 forecast.

The improvement in the 2014 forecast is mainly as a result of significantly better than expected acquisition
growth at yield accretive prices, lower cost of capital and debt, and intensive asset management leading to
enhanced overall performance in the underlying portfolio.

All assumptions, notes, explanatory statements and guidance are as stated in the pre-listing statement and as
updated by various acquisition announcements since listing, and remain unchanged.
This forecast, including the assumptions on which it is based and the financial information from which it is
prepared, is the responsibility of the directors of Ascension. This forecast has not been audited or reviewed by
Ascension’s external auditors.
