Trading statement COMAIR LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1967/006783/06) ISIN: ZAE000029823 Share Code: COM (“Comair” or “the Company”) TRADING STATEMENT Based on a review of Comair`s results for the first nine months of the year to June 2013 ("reporting period"), shareholders are advised that the Company`s headline earnings and earnings per share are expected to be more than 20% higher than the corresponding reporting period of the previous year. This is largely attributable to improved cost recoveries through new revenue management and operating systems as well as efficiencies arising from the new aircraft purchased in the first six months of the financial year. Industry capacity has also been more closely aligned to market demand. Comair cannot at this stage with reasonable certainty quantify the extent of its results for the reporting period within the 20% range required by the JSE Limited Listings Requirements. A further trading statement for the reporting period will be issued once the Company has reasonable certainty with regard to its results for the reporting period. The Company’s results are expected to be released on the Stock Exchange News Service before the end of September 2013. The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and reported on by Comair`s external auditors.
