ANNOUNCEMENT



APPOINTMENT OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
QPG (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Ian Shneier has been appointed as a non-
executive director, with effect from 5 June 2013.

Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in a wide range of industries.

RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Further to the cautionary announcement dated 25 May 2012, and the subsequent renewal of cautionary
announcements, the last of which was dated 23 April 2013, the Board confirms that it is still engaging with
legal advisors to assess the impact of the liquidation of the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, A Million Up
Investments 105 Proprietary Limited.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in the Company’s
securities, until a further announcement is made.
