CHANGES TO COMPANY SECRETARY

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the
following changes to the company secretary:

Further to the announcement of 19 October 2012, the Board of Afro-C (“the Board”) is pleased to announce
the appointment of Statucor (Pty) Ltd (“Statucor”) as Company Secretary as of 3 June 2013. The Board
wishes to thank Ms Yolandi van Zweel, the General Manager responsible for Legal, Governance, Risk and
Compliance of the Group, who has been acting as Company Secretary in the interim. Ms van Zweel will no
longer be acting as Company Secretary.

Statucor is a long established company secretarial firm with experience working with listed companies.

The Board is satisfied that the Statucor team has the necessary skills and experience to be appointed as its
Company Secretary.
