Pieter will remain on the board of directors as a non-executive director where his years of experience with the company and in the industry will add value. The board wishes to thank Pieter for his contribution to the company over the past 5 years and wishes him well with his future endeavours. We are also pleased to announce that Mr Johannes Hendrik Petrus Engelbrecht (“Henk”) has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer and executive director of the company with effect from 30 June 2013. Henk will however join Andulela on 1 June 2013 in order to ensure a smooth handover from Pieter. Henk qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and completed his articles at KPMG, for whom he worked from 1983 to 1990, the latter years as group audit manager. He then joined the investment banking and corporate finance team of ABSA Merchant Bank, before accepting an opportunity at Grindrod Bank to co-found a corporate finance team in 1999. In 2008 he was approached by Vunani Corporate Finance to join their team, where he remained until March 2011 when he was appointed as Group Financial Director of StratCorp Ltd.
