APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM FINANCIAL DIRECTOR, CHANGE OF DIRECTORS’
STATUS AND RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the Beige board of directors:

 (i)    Further to the announcement dated 12 April 2013 regarding the resignation of Mr Kersley
        Vinay as financial director with effect from 30 June 2013, shareholders are advised that Mr
        Ajith Heeralal (“Ajith”), a non-executive director of Beige, has been appointed as interim
        financial director with immediate effect. The appointment will result in Ajith’s capacity on
        the board of Beige changing from that of non-executive director to executive director with
        immediate effect.

        Ajith holds a B.Comm (Acc) and an MBA degree. He served articles at Deloitte & Touche,
        joining Masuka Jeena Inc. in 1988 as Financial Manager. In 1995, Ajith made the move
        into industry, holding managerial positions at Unibond Alloys and Universal Print Group
        before joining The Lion Match Company as Commercial Director in 2008.

 (ii)   Following the appointment of Mr Heeralal as Interim Financial Director, Mr Vinay has
        resigned as a director with immediate effect.

 (iii) Further to the announcements released on SENS on 14 December 2012 and 16 January
       2013, shareholders are reminded that Mr Mike Allan assumed the role of Chief Executive
       Officer with effect from 1 May 2013 and that the capacity of Mr Mark Di Nicola has
       accordingly changed from executive director to non-executive director with effect from the
       same date.
