DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

With reference to the directors dealings announcement made by the company on
31 December 2013, which transaction was subject to South African Reserve Bank
approval, Petmin confirms that same has now been received by the relevant party.

Petmin received notice on Friday, 26 April 2013, from Dark Capital International
(Cyprus) Limited (“DCI”) and Dark Capital (Pty) Ltd (“DC”), pursuant to Section
122 (3) (b) of the South African Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (the “Act”).

Pursuant to the Act and paragraph 3.83 (b) of the Listings Requirements of JSE
Limited, Petmin therefore wishes to advise that as at 24 April 2013, DCI holds 10.4%
(previously 9.4%) and DC holds 4.9% (previously 6.02%) of the issued share capital
of Petmin.
