CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with section 3.59 of the JSE Listing Requirements, shareholders of the Company are
notified that Mr. Frederick Botha has resigned as Financial Director of Insimbi, effective from 1 April
2013. Shareholders attention is drawn to the SENS announcement dated 28 February 2012 which
confirmed the appointment of Mr Botha as Group Financial Director in a caretaking capacity pending
the appointment of a suitable candidate for the position. He will however remain in his role as
Commercial Director of Insimbi.

The Board of Insimbi are pleased to announce that Mr. Graham Ferns has been appointed as the
Financial Director of Insimbi with effect from 1 April 2013. Mr. Ferns is a chartered accountant with
many years’ financial and business management experience in a listed environment. Mr Ferns has
been employed by the Group since 1st February 2012 as a consultant to the financial director and has
gained an intimate knowledge of the group and the role of FD during his 14 month tenure as a
consultant and he has now accepted a full time appointment to this position.

We welcome Mr. Ferns to the Board of Insimbi.
