The Chairman of the Group, Mr Vusi Khanyile, commended Dr Greeff, mentioning that “Over recent years, Henk has been personally involved in driving the long-term strategy change, transforming the Group into separate diversified retail and consumer finance entities and strengthening the relationship with the Steinhoff Group.” David Sussman, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, added that “Henk has played a central role in this transformation process and for that I thank him on behalf of all his colleagues.” Henk summarised his career with the JD Group as follows: "My ten-year journey with JD Group can be described as a career highlight.
