APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Intu Properties plc (“Intu”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Adèle
Anderson to the Board as a non-executive director and member of the Audit
Committee with effect from Friday 22 February 2013.

Adèle is a non-executive director of easyJet plc and a member of the easyJet
Audit Committee. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of both Save the
Children UK and Save the Children International and chairs the Audit Committee
of Save the Children International. She was formerly a Partner at KPMG, where
she held a number of senior roles including Chief Financial Officer.

She graduated from Kent University with BSc Hons in Mathematics & Computer
Science.

Patrick Burgess, Chairman of CSC, said “We are delighted to welcome Adèle
Anderson to the Board and Audit Committee and look forward to her contribution
to the company’s affairs.”

As at the date of her appointment, Adèle Anderson does not have a shareholding
in Intu. There is no other information which is required to be disclosed under
Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
