DISCLOSURE OF DISPOSAL AND ACQUISITION IN BENEFICIAL
INTEREST IN SECURITIES

Sibanye Gold has received Notices on Wednesday, 13
February 2013 and Thursday 14 February 2013, from
Investec Asset Management Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“IAM”)on
behalf of various segregated clients pursuant to Section
122 (3) (b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”).

Pursuant to the Act and Para 3.83 (b) of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, Sibanye Gold wishes to advise that
IAM, in aggregate:

       1. disposed of 2.5% of their holdings in the issued
          share capital of Sibanye Gold on 12 February 2013.
          Subsequent to the disposal IAM held 9.99% in the
          issued share capital of Sibanye Gold; and
       2. acquired 0.44% in the issued share capital of
          Sibanye Gold on 13 February 2013. Subsequent to
          the acquisition IAM holds 10.43% in the issued
          share capital of Sibanye Gold.
