UPDATE TO SHAREHOLDERS
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement dated 15 January 2013 referring to the second
provisional liquidation application against Angel Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Angel Diamonds”) (Case Number
CIV/PET/01/2011) (“the Second Liquidation Case”).
The appeal (Case Numbers C OF A 36 & 37/2012)(“the Appeal Case”) against the dismissal of the second
provisional liquidation of Angel Diamonds was not heard on 24 January 2013. The hearing was rescheduled
and set down to be heard on 5 April 2013 in the Appeal Court of Lesotho. A security for costs application by
Thabex, Angel Diamonds and others against the Appellants will have to be heard and be concluded prior to
the hearing of the Appeal Case.
On 25 January 2013, Angel Diamonds successfully brought an urgent interdict in the High Court of Lesotho,
in terms of Case Number CIV/APN/554/2012, against Messrs Engelbrecht, Mosebo and others to prevent
them from continuing to misrepresent the affairs of Angel Diamonds.
The hearing of the alleged labour dispute brought by Mr Mosebo on 26 November 2012 against Angel
Diamonds was partially heard on 16 January 2013 and postponed to 12 March 2013.
Shareholders will be advised of future developments.
