Her technical and executive skill set have been broadened and deepened in various roles at Afrisam (Holcim) and Aveng. Sebasti’s appointment complements and strengthens Protech’s strategic alignment within the concrete value chain objectives we have set having held roles in structural engineering design, cement and concrete technology, civil engineering construction and strategic development. Sebasti is also a keen driver of sustainability within the construction industry and our environment. As such, she will with immediate effect take over the Executive role at Protech Readymix. Sebasti’s success and credentials are evident in her awards and being recognized as ‘The Concrete Person of the Year’ (Cement and Concrete Institute) in 2008, a member of the advisory board of the University of Pretoria’s Built Environment faculty and a member of SAICE.
