CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The board of Mediclinic hereby announces that Mr Chris van den
Heever has resigned as a director of the company with effect from
1 February 2013. Mr Van den Heever, representing Remgro Limited,
which holds a 43.4% interest in Mediclinic through Industrial
Partnership Investments Limited, served as a non-executive
director of Mediclinic since February 2010 and as the chairman of
the company’s Social and Ethics Committee since February 2012. Mr
Van den Heever’s resignation is as a result of him being seconded
by Remgro Limited to Rainbow Chicken Limited for a period of two
years. The Board is thankful for his valuable contribution as a
director.
