CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are advised that the Company’s subsidiary,
Armstrong   Building   Contractors  (“Armstrong”),   has
incurred further material losses to those provided for
in the interim accounts to 31 August 2012 on a contract
in the Eastern Cape. Discussions have been entered into
with the client and third parties relating to limiting
these losses and providing liquidity to the subsidiary.
The Company will update shareholders within the next two
weeks of any further developments in this regard. It is
noted that the Company’s major subsidiary, Civcon
Construction, has a sound order book, is trading
profitably and has adequate liquidity to meet its
current and forecast commitments. Shareholders are
advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company’s securities until a further announcement is
made, as the outcome of the discussions in regard to
Armstrong may have a material effect on the price of the
Company’s securities.
