APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Shareholders are referred to the announcement on SENS on 19 April 2012
in which it was inter alia advised that Mr. Roland Röhrs (“Mr. Röhrs”)
has been appointed as Chairman of the board of directors of Dorbyl 
(“the Board”) following the resignation of Mr. JB Magwaza, and that
Mr. Röhrs will, in addition to his role as Chairman, continue with his 
role as Chief Executive Officer in an acting capacity. Subsequent 
to the above, shareholders are hereby advised that Mr. Röhrs has been
replaced as Chief Executive Officer of Dorbyl by Mr. Sibusiso Maphatiane
(“Mr. Maphatiane”) with effect from 9 January 2013. Mr. Röhrs will however
remain as Chairman of the Board.

As a BCom (Honours) (Accounting and Finance) graduate, Mr. Maphatiane 
started his career at Mncube High School (1985) as an accounting teacher. 
This was followed with 6 years at higher education institution Vista
University (“Vista”), initially as a lecturer of accounting, taxation
and financial management and later as the Academic Registrar and
Faculty Administrator of Vista. In 1996 Mr. Maphatiane was appointed the
Financial Director of the South African Revenue Services (SARS) where he
was responsible for financial management and budgeting. He was part of the
team who transformed the National system to accrual accounting and he was
also instrumental in introducing the first black accountants into the 
financial unit of SARS to promote equity. His entrepreneurial spirit led
him to the founding of his own company Pytron (2000), which provides ICT 
services (mainly Financial, Logistics and Personnel) to government departments.
The company currently employs in excess of 120 staff members nationally with
offices in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Cape Town and Limpopo.

Apart from his previous executive chairmanship of Pytron, Mr. Maphatiane
currently serves as the non-executive chairman at Mgwali Holdings (Pty)
Limited, as a non-executive at Popcru Group of Companies and as the non-
executive chairman at Exponant (Pty) Limited. Shareholders are also advised
that Mr. Maphatiane is a shareholder and director of Naledi Foundry of
Republic of South Africa Proprietary Limited which is acting as the offeror
under the Revised Offer as announced on SENS on 7 December 2012.
