EVRAZ HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANADIUM: RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY


It is with regret that the resignation of Cathie Lewis as Company Secretary from Evraz Highveld
Steel and Vanadium Limited is announced. This comes after Cathie has spent six years with the
Company. Cathie’s last working day will be 30 January 2013.

Cathie has been part of the Corporate and Legal services team since 1 January 2007 when she
joined the Company as Unit Manager: Legal Services. She was appointed Company Secretary on
1 August 2008 and further appointed Company Secretary and Investor Relations on 1 June 2010.
Cathie is also a member of the Executive team.

We thank Cathie for her contribution to Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium over the years and
wish her all the best for the future.

Anre Westrate will act in the position of Company Secretary as from 1 February 2013 until further
notice.
