RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY



Shareholders are advised that Mr Clive Neuwerth has resigned as Central Rand Gold’s Company Secretary
with effect from 28 February 2013 so as to pursue a new career opportunity.

The board of directors would like to thank Mr Neuwerth for his contribution to the Company and wishes him
well in his future endeavours.

Mr Patrick Malaza, the Company’s Financial Director, will fulfil the role of Company Secretary until a new
appointment has been made, which appointment will be communicated to shareholders in due course.
