RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING

Chemspec shareholders are advised that at the general meeting of
ordinary shareholders held today, the requisite majority of
ordinary shareholders passed the ordinary resolution to increase
the aggregate number of unissued ordinary shares that may be
reserved for the Employee Share Option Scheme, together with the
shares under option, from 50,000,000 shares to 100,000,000
shares.
