APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

Further to the SENS announcement dated 1 October 2012, Clover’s
Board of Directors (“the Board”) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr WI Büchner as non-executive chairman of the
Group, with effect from 30 November 2012.

Mr Büchner is a milk producer who has been farming in the Eastern
Cape since 1994 and has served as a non-executive director since
2006, including as vice-chairman in the past year.

Clover’s Board currently consists of 12 directors, four of which
are executive, four independent non-executive directors and four
non-executive producer directors. In line with the King Report on
Corporate Governance in South Africa (2009), Mr TA Wixley will
continue in his role as lead independent non-executive director.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Bredin for his tenure as chairman and
his invaluable contribution over the past 22 years.
