Appointment of chief executive

The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Graeme Edward Stephens as
the chief executive of Sun International and as a director of the company with effect from
1 February 2013.

Mr Stephens (49) (BCom, HDip Acc, CA (SA)) joined Sun International in 2011 as the
group’s new business development director. Prior to joining the group he spent 7 years
with Kerzner International as the senior vice president of project development and was
instrumental in securing new hotel and casino opportunities for Kerzner International. He
has 13 years’ experience in investment banking with a focus on the tourism and leisure
industry and was intimately involved with Sun International throughout this period.
Graeme’s international experience extends to Africa, Middle East, Indian Ocean, Asia
and Latin America.


Appointment of independent non-executive director

The board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Bacon as an
independent non-executive director with effect from 1 February 2013. Peter has over 35
years’ experience in the hospitality, resorts and gaming industry. He previously served
as an executive director on the Sun International board from 1994 and as the group’s
chief executive from 1 July 2003 to his retirement on 30 June 2006.
