CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - RESIGNATION OF CHAIRMAN




In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
EOH (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Dr Nakedi Mathews Phosa has decided to step
down as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of EOH (“Chairman”) with effect from 30 November 2012 as
a result of his other considerable commitments. However, Dr Phosa has agreed to make himself available
to assist EOH wherever he can in the future.

Dr Phosa has served as Chairman for the past nine years, and under his Chairmanship, EOH has grown in
excess of 40% per annum to become the leading IT service provider in South Africa.

The directors, management and staff of EOH would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr Phosa for
his significant contribution during his tenure as Chairman and wish him well in his future endeavours.

The Board has commenced the process to appoint a new chairperson and shareholders will be advised in
due course once an appointment has been made.
