APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CEO AND ALTERNATE DIRECTOR

Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 26 September
2012 relating to the resignation of the Gijima Chief Executive
Officer (“CEO”), Mr Jonas Bogoshi.      As indicated in the said
announcement, Mr Bogoshi will be vacating the office of CEO and
executive director at the end of December 2012.

However, in the interests of ensuring a smooth handover during the
next three months, the board has appointed Ms Eileen Wilton,
current Chief Operating Officer of Gijima, as interim CEO with
effect from 9 October 2012 whilst the board’s process to identify
an appropriate candidate for appointment as new CEO continues. Mr
Bogoshi will be working closely with Ms Wilton during this period
as part of his handover.       Additionally, Ms Wilton has been
appointed as an alternate director to Mr Bogoshi for the remainder
of his term of office.
