TRADING STATEMENT 


In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as 
soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be 
reported upon next will differ by 20% or more from those of the prior comparative period. 


Basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share of Tsogo Sun for the six-month period to 30 September 
2012 are likely to be more than 20% higher than the previous corresponding period. A further trading statement will 
be issued in due course as required by the JSE Limited Listings Requirements. 


The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and reported on by the 
company's external auditors, PriceWaterhouseCoopers Inc.
