Distribution Announcment - STXNII NEDBANK LTD Share Code: STXNII ISIN: ZAE000166732 FINAL DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE STX40 SHARE INSTALMENT Notice is hereby given of the distribution amount payable for SATRIX 40 and that as a result of the distribution declaration relating to SATRIX 40 (STX40) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust have declared a distribution amount of 33.08 cents per STXNII share instalment that is payable on Friday, 12 October 2012. The final payment will be rounded to two decimal places. The distribution amount is constituted by: - 31.68874 cents in respect of dividends; - 0.87669 cents in respect of interest; and - 0.51457 cents in respect of other income. With respect to the gross dividend of 31.68874 cents per share instalment 15.11239 is subject to the local dividend tax of 15 per cent. The STC credits that were utilized to reduce the 15 per cent local dividend tax amounted to 2.40044, resulting in a net dividend of 13.2056 cents per share instalment. Furthermore, with respect to the gross dividend of 31.68874 cents per share instalment 15.47228 is due to a foreign dividend and it is subject to the withholding tax of 15 per cent, resulting in a net dividend of 13.15144.
