CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board is
pleased to inform holders of Index Securities of the following appointments to the board of directors of
the company ("the board") with immediate effect:
1. MR. TIMOTHY JOHN FEARNHEARD
Mr. Timothy John Fearnheard has been appointed as an independent non-executive director. His
qualifications include CTA (Wits), CA(SA), Diploma in Advanced Banking (RAU), Deloitte & Touché
Leadership Development Programme, Investment in Excellence (Pacific Institute), Competitive
Strategy and General Management (GIBS) and How to run a bank (Nedcor Development Programme).
He is currently an independent consultant: financial and training. Mr Fearnhead held
various leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and audit partner.
2. DR VLADIMIR NEDELJKOVIC
Dr Vladimir Nedeljkovic has been appointed as non-executive director. His qualifications include a
Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, as
well as a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. In 1996 he
attained a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of the Witwatersrand, and in 2002 he
completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Wits Business School. He was awarded a
first class pass for his MBA, together with the CAMAF Award for 'The Best MBA Student in
Quantitative Method Topics'.
Dr Nedeljkovic has played a key role in the development of Absa?s ETF business, as well as in the
development of innovative ETF products.
The board welcomes both Messrs. Fearnheard and Nedeljkovic to the board and look forward to their
contribution to the Company.
