MEDICLINIC AND MAJOR SUBSIDIARIES
In compliance with the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the following directors and company secretary of Mediclinic and
its major subsidiaries have elected to follow their rights to
subscribe for new Mediclinic shares, as detailed below, pursuant
to the rights offer by Mediclinic, as announced on SENS on 24
August 2012 and 31 August 2012 and further detailed in the
circular to shareholders dated 17 September 2012. In accordance
with the salient dates relating to the rights offer by Mediclinic,
the rights offer shares will be issued on or about Monday, 8
October 2012.
The rights offer by Mediclinic is in respect of 174 641 984 shares
made to shareholders in the ratio of 26.77263 new rights offer
shares for every 100 shares held at the close of trade on Friday,
14 September 2012 at a price of R28.63 per rights offer share.
Clearance to deal was obtained for all these transactions.
