APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Unitholders are advised that Redefine Properties Limited has appointed Mr. Alex
Phakathi as Chief Executive Officer of Fountainhead, effective immediately. The
current managing director Mr. Anton Raubenheimer intends resigning from the board by
the end of September, subject to the Financial Services Board approval. Anton will
remain with Fountainhead for the month of September to ensure a smooth transition to
new management.

Alex has more than 15 years of commercial property experience. He was on the executive
committee of Redefine responsible for acquisitions and disposals. Previously, he was
the managing director of Pareto Ltd, an unlisted property loan stock company with a
portfolio of shopping centres and hotels. Before joining Redefine, Alex was the head
of property strategy and planning for Barclays Africa (Absa CRES). Alex is a past-
president of SAPOA and serves on the board of the property charter. He has a Master of
Commerce degree from Wits.
